The major project being built next to the current Nissan Stadium in Nashville is a new enclosed stadium for the Tennessee Titans. It is rising directly east of the existing stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River.
New Nissan Stadium
The new Nissan Stadium will become the Titans’ home venue. Construction is expected to be completed in February 2027. The project is being built beside the current stadium rather than at a separate location.
After the new stadium is completed, Nashville plans to demolish the existing Nissan Stadium. The current site is expected to become part of the next phase of the East Bank redevelopment.
What else is planned for the East Bank?
The stadium is part of a much larger waterfront redevelopment called the East Bank Development. The broader plan covers Metro-owned land and the Central Waterfront area around the stadium.

The East Bank Development Authority coordinates and supports planning for the broader redevelopment. The authority’s projects are anchored by the new Nissan Stadium, Oracle’s campus, Eastpoint and planned civic and neighborhood improvements.
